I came in here for a drink after a morning at the botanic Gardens. I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was; shout out to Grace. I thought the iced latte was divine. It was a seemingly fruity forward espresso, which was so refreshing on a really hot day. Bonus- they also have decaf espresso for anyone who is caffeine sensitive and they sell espresso tonic so I will absolutely be back to try that. Tons of outdoor seating and a good selection of indoor seating too. Solid spot and try it out!
Honestly, I tried to call this morning to tell them personally about our experience with their pastries. Unfortunately, and to my surprise, a phone number was not even available to make that call, leaving me no other choice, but to leave this review. My only peeve with our entire experience was the pastries that blueberry muffin was by far the worst blueberry muffin I have ever had in my entire life and my partner’s croissant was not much better. Sadly, the pastries they had before were quite delicious but now it’s highly questionable and I just apologize for not being able to make that phone call in the first place. Oh well, the coffee was good and the service was wonderful. Thank you for that.
The Copper Door is a charming find, perfectly situated for a relaxing stop after visiting the Denver Botanic Gardens. It lives up to its reputation as a cozy and quiet spot, it's the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a moment of peace without the typical coffee shop hustle. The real standout was the cappuccino. It was incredibly creamy and rich, easily one of the best I've had in a while. The texture and depth of flavor were fantastic. Highly recommended for a high-quality coffee and a tranquil environment!
Love the excellent service and the ambience. You are surrounded by nature that can be admired through the windows and have the option to sit outside on the patio where you can breathe in the fresh air. Staff are friendly and great barristas.
Coffee is good, people are friendly. But it is very small and doesn't have much seating. It only has 2 tables to sit at and the rest is high top bar style seating that faces the window in a narrow hallway in the back. Chairs are metal and pretty uncomfortable. Not the kind of place I could sit in for a while and do some work, or hand out and relax while I sip my coffee. Was hoping it would at least have a view of the botanical gardens but the windows face the street. Just not the lounge style coffee shop. Probably better for take out, personal opinion.
