We cover Denver events for the people deciding what to do this week. Here is what we publish, what we need from you, and what you can expect back.

Who we are

303Happenings is an independent, Denver-based event discovery site. We map every concert, festival, comedy night, market, and community event happening across the metro — drawn from ticketing partners, venue calendars, and our own reporting — and publish it in English and Spanish. Editorial is written by our own staff, and listings coverage is free and never conditioned on advertising.

Coverage we run

Three formats carry almost everything we publish. A single show can land in all three.

Previews on time-scoped hubs

Announcements and on-sales are written up on the hub that matches when they happen — tonight, this weekend, this week, by neighborhood and by category. These pages are where readers arrive from search, and they are updated all day.

Weekly digest

One editor-picked roundup a week, published to the blog and sent to our newsletter list. Send us something at least ten days out and it can be considered for that issue.

Recaps with photos

For shows we attend, we publish a recap with our own photography, credited to the photographer, linked back to the venue and artist pages.

By the numbers

Counted from our own database and source list when this page was last rebuilt. We do not publish audience figures here — ask the press desk and we will send what we can actually stand behind.

What we ask for

  • Put us on the list

Add our press desk to your Denver announcement list. Full releases, assets, and on-sale timings are all welcome — we would rather have the whole release than a teaser.

  • A pair of tickets for review

Two tickets lets a writer bring a photographer. We request photo permission wherever the venue requires it, and we never resell or transfer review tickets.

  • Advance notice

Ten days ahead for digest consideration, and as much lead time as you can give on on-sale news. Embargoes are honored when they are stated in writing.

What we commit to

  • A preview before

If we accept tickets for a show, it gets a preview published before doors — on the relevant hub, with your on-sale link and correct billing.

  • A recap after

A recap follows the show, with our own photos and links back to the venue, the artist, and the promoter.

  • A response in two business days

Every pitch gets a real answer within two business days, including the ones that are a no.

Disclosure policy

When tickets are provided by a promoter or venue for review, we say so in the coverage.

That disclosure runs in the piece itself, not in a site footer. Comped tickets buy attendance and nothing else: no copy approval, no guaranteed rating, and no removal of a review once it is published. Paid placements are labeled separately and are never presented as editorial.
