Street safety
Transportation reporter. Crashes, street closures and detours, from city records and local reporting.
Ellie Brandt covers how Denver moves at 303Happenings: crashes, permitted street closures, detours and the corridors where the city is still working out how people should get around. She reports from the city's crash and street-occupancy records and reads transit agency notices, public works announcements and local coverage alongside them, saying clearly what the data covers and what it leaves out. Ellie's pieces help you plan the trip, whether you walk, bike, ride or drive, and keep street safety in view without drama.
