Parking is very hard and tricky. Restrooms were port-a-potties across the street. Warm inside with very few fans. Our waitress was nice, so service was good.
I didn't have food so I can't rate that, but this place is a gem. Super cool history with photographs of many of the greats that have played the outdoor amphitheater over the decades. It is worth it to stop in off the beaten path, and the drive to the restaurant is stunning. Loved the Odell's Mishawaka collab brew.
I was born and raised here and this is all we have left for an amazing local affordable outdoor venue. Absolutely magical. The crowd you can’t control which would be my biggest complaint. People who can’t handle their liquor and have no basic manners but the venue and staff are awesome and handle it well and the chicken tenders and the indoor restaurant is worth the day trip without a concert as well. Really special place I hope it stays forever
Had a wonderful and wholesome time at this gem. It's a definite must visit. Our waiter was very attentive, even gave blankets as it gets pretty chilly sitting outside by the river. The only bottleneck of amazing service is the hostes who just give off "i dont want to be here" vibe, and were literally chopping it up between one another as we were waiting for them to pay us some attention and get us seated (we did call ahead and have a reservation). Their bison meat was delicious. The IPA, beer, and cider were all fresh and crisp. There is so much to look at while dining, watching the humming birds, people paddling along the river, the live music. We will definitely be back again! For those visiting for the first time: - - definitely call ahead to make a reservation - bring a jacket (even if it's warm outside) - and be aware that Parking can be tricky and might have to park down the street if there are no spots available.
Hands down, one of the most unique, cool destination locations I've been to. The views are amazing. Right on the river. You have to go. Experience their slice of heaven yourself. It's a Very easy, enjoyable, scenic drive there.
