About this event

ZZ Top brings their legendary Texas blues-rock to Monfort Concert Hall on March 25, 2026, as part of their expansive 'The Big One' tour. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees continue to deliver their signature sound more than 55 years after forming in Houston, with Billy Gibbons' distinctive guitar work and gravelly vocals anchoring performances that span their massive catalog of hits.

Monfort Concert Hall provides an intimate 1,400-seat setting for experiencing ZZ Top's blend of blues, boogie, and hard rock — a stark contrast to their typical arena shows. The venue's acoustics and smaller capacity create optimal conditions for appreciating the nuances of Gibbons' guitar tone and the band's tight rhythm section, now featuring bassist Elwood Francis following Dusty Hill's passing in 2021.

The March Denver performance represents one of dozens of dates on ZZ Top's 2026 North American tour, marking their continued commitment to live performance despite lineup changes. Expect classic cuts like 'La Grange,' 'Sharp Dressed Man,' and 'Tush' alongside deeper album tracks that showcase the band's blues roots and Frank Beard's steady drumming that has anchored the group since 1969.

ZZ Top stands as one of rock's most enduring acts, formed in Houston in 1969 by Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard. The Texas trio became legendary for their blues-driven hard rock, iconic beards (ironically, drummer Frank Beard has no facial hair), and distinctive sound that blends traditional blues with boogie rock. Following Dusty Hill's death in 2021, the band continues with Elwood Francis on bass, maintaining their signature sound that has sold over 50 million albums worldwide. Their career spans more than five decades, with hits like 'La Grange,' 'Tush,' and 'Sharp Dressed Man' cementing their place in rock history.
