Magness Arena

Went for a high school graduation. It filled up pretty fast. Learned that if you try to go in from Bunchtel Blvd, the line is really long, but if you go in on the West side or South side, the lines are not as long to get in. It was nice that the concessions were open during the graduation because it was long and my wife got hungry.

Had a great time and didn't look like there was a bad seat in the house. The only downer is we were charged for double for both tequila cranberries, $29.81 each if you were curious.

My wife and I were in town to watch the Denver Pioneers take on the Colorado College Tigers in men's hockey. My wife is a DU Grad, and since we moved to Texas in 2018, this was the first opportunity we've had to come back and watch her team play. They won 4-1 so our trip what's capped off with a fantastic victory! Not a bad seat in the house, and it was so fun to watch the kids in the student section cheer on their team.

Great area to watch a hockey game. Denver certainly knows how to treat their season ticket holders, with comfortable seats and cup holders, something I wish our university would supply. Good food options it appeared though we did not partake. There also a couple locations to grab a beer if you were so inclined. Denver kicked out butts, but we still enjoyed our trip to Magness.

Great venue to watch excellent D1 college hockey. It’s been great to see the fan base grow over the years and fill this first class arena. If you’re looking for a fun Friday or Saturday night, catch a Pioneers hockey game!
