Duffeyroll Café

We stopped in here as tourists staying nearby at an AirBNB. I'm not a big breakfast guy, but this fit me just right. The rolls are about half the size of a massive cinnamon roll you'd have at a bakery and were just as good if not better. The staff were super kind and gave us a couple mini rolls to try before buying. They have a few different varieties of the rolls, but I liked the original. This is great for those that want a light, cheap, and delicious breakfast, but you can buy more if you're a big breakfast eater. Check this out if you're in the area and need a good start to your day.

If you've never had a Duffeyroll, you have to try it! They're flaky and crisp like a croissant on the outside then tender and gooey in the middle. The savory rolls are so addictive, and the sweet rolls are totally craveable. Love the bacon, orange, and pecan rolls though I can't say any of them are bad. The only problem is that I never order enough.

I discovered this place through work. I introduced my partner and we have loved this place. Last time we came in, I was given the wrong menu item; I've ordered the same thing everytime. Something in me was off that day and I immediately was upset. I was not rude but I was quiet, clearly upset. It was really just "one of those days" where something small can make it all crumble. I've never acted this way before but damn, was I so excited to get my favorite sandwich. The man who brought us our food offered to make the correct dish. My partner said oh that's OK. We planned to just leave and have the rest of the day at home. I want to state that it was understandable the dish came out wrong. We did not order it 100% by the menu name. So never did I blame Duffeyroll. It was just a bad day. Just as we were about to leave. They brought out the correct order. This meant a lot as I didn't have to leave fully disappointed - though I was embarrassed by how I reacted to the wrong order. They did not have to do this. We did not blame them and we would have returned anyway. But this excellent customer service and caring about your community is the best I've seen in Denver. 100% recommend Duffeyroll. Such tasty sandwiches! Great pastries as well. I love that they have savory/sweet so depending on the day they have something for you. Thank you Duffeyroll for making this right.

I visited my first Duffeyroll today, the pearl street location, and it was great! The duffeyrolls were a much better alternative to cinnamon rolls and such amazing service too! I did not get her name but the adorable lady with the blonde bob was an absolute gem! She was so helpful, patient & insightful. It’s also refreshing to see someone upbeat, excited, & happy at work! I look forward to going back!

I didn’t realize the same time I placed my pickup order at 2 when I planned on coming after I got out of class. I called a couple times to let them know I was on my way ans ended up showing up 15 minutes after they closed. They still allowed me to pick up my order and even hand delivered it. The person with sick turquoise piercings was so very sweet and the rolls were great. Incredible service and I appreciated it very much on a hectic day!
