Best Detroit pizza I ever had! Perfect stop before a red rocks show. Awesome servers and the man that makes the pizza pours his love in to it that’s for sure!
YUM-O! I've been a fan of Blue Pan Detroit Style Pizza since discovering it in Colorado. I absolutely love the whipped ricotta that's slightly sweetened that they put little dollops of on several of their featured pizzas. I am currently on crutches and asked them if they could bring my pizza out to the car for an online order that I made. They absolutely did bring them out. I ordered two different kinds of pizza this time, a large 8 square, deep dish. I decided to order something different this time. I ALWAYS do 8 squares and half/half. I ordered Little Rose and Gold Hill. I'll tell you what! This pizza never makes it to my destination before I have already got it in my hand noshing on it in the car! So, I chose the corner piece of Gold Hill. It was fresh from the oven, deep dish and crusty crunchy classic Detroit style cheesy edged! I took a bite and was right on happy with this choice! Holy crap! The Detroit cheese blend, gorgonzola, asiago, fig preserves, prosciutto di parma, balsamic glaze, shaved parmigiano reggiano, (No Pizza Sauce) was an explosion of flavors in my mouth! The sweet fig preserves and balsamic glaze with the salty proscuitto was divine! How can you go wrong? The Little Rose Pizza was equally as good, just not as bougie. It hit right though! No doubt they know what they're doing here. So, gather with friends, grab a beer and get some real pizza and explore the menu! You will be rewarded with a happy mouth and stuffed belly! Go spoil yourself! I do, every time I'm 40 minutes away coming to Denver. Happy girl!
Great Detroit style pizza with a nice atmosphere and really friendly service. They make all kinds of different flavors of pizza. They have a great lunch special every day.
Some of the best pizza in town, but you’ll pay for it ($36 for one pizza). Sweety Pie was fantastic, but really anything you get Detroit style with the Ricotta dollops will be amazeballs.
I will blame my wife that we have lived down the street from this place for years, I love pizza, and we haven't actually set foot in here. Only an occasional delivery ask. And she prefers thin crust pizza. Anyway, there are days when A) we search lunch specials in the area and B) when she is in the mood for pizza. This was one of those days where A & B were successful. We loved our experience here, and we were the sole bar sitters that day. We loved the food, the drink, and the whole lunch experience overall. Kaylin (forgive me if spelling is incorrect) was our bartender/server, and she couldn't have been more on point, both with efficiency and welcoming personality. I had an IPA (Techno Tom) and she had some wine. The lunch special is a flashback from 10 years ago in price, and I thought the $10.99 price tag was easily surpassed by a fountain drink, hearty salad, and big slice of pizza. We both had the special slice of the day, the Little Rose, and it was delicious. They didn't have any house hot sauce, but I thought outside of the box and asked for their chili oil, and it was a magnificent add to my slice. Definitely recommend doing that if you prefer spicy things. The salad was way above what I would expect from a lunch special. Very quaint, cool bar seating with a great atmosphere overall. My only small dig is I wish they had a West Coast IPA on tap, but I get it...Detroit place. I definitely recommend this place, and see you there (and it won't be years this time)...
