This is one of my favorite places to go in the Denver area. It had three or four different places to park. There are lots of trees and a lake. On Sundays they often have lowriders that go there. There is often birthday parties going on there. The grass is nicely maintained. The playground is nice. There are people that go there to read there is also a swimming pool. It's right off i70 which is close to i25 so they way to and from are very easy. Lakeside amusement park is across the street so its easy to mingle with people and learn some history. Its location is near convenience stores and a king Soopers is near Also. There are lots of people that go there to run, walk, or ride bikes. It's kid friendly and also dog friendly. It's a great place to either relax and read a book or get active and play tennis.
Well groomed and very clean. The walkway circles a body of water that displays all types of birds that perch on the reeds. The day I went it was red-winged black birds. Several covered eating areas that were great and tables out on the grass. Courts for tennis. Ample parking on site. Will definitely go back.
The dog park is awesome! It is always full of tennis balls and it is well kept. Very clean and there is always water for your dog.
A beautiful oasis of a park amidst the city! HUGE and plenty of walking paths. Lots of propel fishing, and absolutely beautiful bird sounds the whole way around. Lots of grassy areas where you could have picnics or play sports. There are tennis courts and a dog park. Overall, a wonderful park!
Nice park. Paved path around the lake is a little over a mile, and you have a beautiful view of the mountains. There’s a playground, basketball & tennis courts, picnic tables, and plenty of trees. Leash free dog park is connected. People fish here too. Lots of parking options. Downside is the bathrooms are never open, though there is a large porta-potty that’s open to the public.
