1870s
Wealthy Victorian Enclave
Capitol Hill developed as Denver's most fashionable address in the 1870s–1890s, with railroad and mining millionaires building elaborate Victorian mansions on "Millionaire's Row."

Molly Brown's Famous House
Margaret 'Molly' Brown, who would later survive the Titanic disaster, purchased her Capitol Hill mansion at 1340 Pennsylvania Street in 1894. It's now a museum — one of Denver's most visited historic sites.
