Very cool and historic venue! I got to see my favorite artist here and the sound and vibe was amazing! Staff handed out water for free Bar was great Views and sound seemed good from everywhere Parking is crazy but not the venues fault. Hot, but when the fans are on it’s bearable when pressed in a crowd. Feels like a place that has carried the sounds of music for decades. An American opera house.
I have been to the Ogden Theatre at least 10 times to watch a variety of different kinds of shows, mostly metal, but also electronic and rock. The venue is very old, I think it’s over a hundred years old or something like that, and it shows but I think it adds character. The sound quality there is good for how old it is at least for metal shows. The venue is consistently oversold to the point where the last few shows I went to, I was watching from the entrance area. The smoking area is also way too small. It’s always shoulder to shoulder there. The parking there is always a pain. There is street parking but you have to get there at least an hour early to find anything around the venue. Otherwise, you’ll be paying an arm and a leg for paid lot parking. This isn’t the fault of the venue itself though. I am sure I will be back at the Ogden Theatre and hopefully they make some changes to enhance the show experience.
Fantastic indoor venue with an excellent staff that has experience and is also very intelligent! We had a group of friends riding the rail here recently for 2 consecutive shows. There was a belligerently drunk person there the first night that was constantly whistling extremely loudly during all of the music. I know it does not sound terrible but it was to the point where all of the band, stage hands and the audience were extremely upset and kindly asking him to stop. He did not and before the second night started the staff removed him from the venue because he was already drunk before the show started. It literally made our evening and whoever you are, security guard you get an A+ GOLD star for securing our safety and ensuring our evening was not constantly interrupted by an inconsiderate idiot. Thanks again and I will see you in a few weeks for some more shows, cheers!
Great venue for bands that seem underground, yet everyone that comes to this place knows the words. Really enjoy the water refill station. Bathrooms convenient. Staff was friendly! Really cool place all around
The Ogden Theatre is hands down one of the best venues I’ve been to. The energy in that place is unreal—from the second you walk in, you can feel it building. The sound system is insane—clean, heavy, and hits exactly how it should, especially for bass shows. Every drop felt massive without getting muddy, which is rare. Lighting and visuals were on point too, creating a full experience instead of just a show. The layout is perfect whether you want to be deep in the crowd or hang back and still have a great view. Staff kept things moving smoothly, and the whole place felt organized without killing the vibe. Drinks were solid, lines weren’t crazy, and overall it just felt like a well-run venue that actually knows what people come for. If you’re catching a show in Denver, the Ogden is a must. I’ll 100% be back.
