The Mediterranean appetizer was a nice sampling of roasted tomatoes, olives, pickled fennel and turnips (and I usually dislike fennel), feta, baba ganoush, hummus, pita, and we found out what shug is(tasty, albeit salty). My matzah ball soup was delicious and Liz says her Cuban sandwich was right tasty. I adored the lavender lemonade.
The food was excellent and the servers were very kind. Callouts - the house-made soda was extremely good. We tried the cucumber lime. The farro risotto with brussels sprouts that came with the chile braised beef was one of the best sides I’ve ever had. It was truly excellent. We also had the calle corn on the side, which was really well seasoned. We haven’t tried the desserts yet, but just looking at the case is making us want to come back!
Came in for a quick meal and ended up having a really pleasant experience. The matzo ball soup was exactly what I needed — light, flavorful broth with perfectly soft matzo balls, and the vegetables tasted fresh and well-prepared. You can tell it’s made with care, not just thrown together. The atmosphere is also a big plus. Sitting by the window with a view of the city made it feel relaxed but still lively — great spot to unwind, especially during the day. Service was friendly and efficient, nothing over the top but solid and welcoming. Overall, a great place if you want something comforting, simple, and качественно сделанное. I’d definitely come back again.
Very beautiful Modern artistic atmosphere. Delicious fusion food with a wide variety options to order from. Efficient ordering system to find an available at your choice and order by QR code at the table so effecient to have split checks or order for yourself but difficult to order if you do not have a smart phone. Mexican Latte has a great Hinton spice and orange flavor and strongly recommend, its my absolute favorite. Lyon is our favorite brunch option. Benedict caprese was also good. For dinner, we tried salmon curry, chicken, dan dan noodle, luca sandwich, and pork ribs appetizer. EVERYTHING we ordered was very delicious. Chicken was so crispy on outside and juicy and tender inside. Salmon curry had such a delicious balance of coconut curry with veggies. Good espresso martini too. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not take reservations. Highly recommend to be a early bird to walk-in to beat the lunch and dinner rush hour!!
Didn’t sit at the patio this time but I love O&F’s patio. This location has a bar which is nice. The Lyon - which is salmon w caviar on potato cake tasted great for a few bites. The potato cake was bit too heavy, it would have been better as bread. Others is great. The O&F burger was nothing special, good but not uniquely good or different than other burgers. Lastly, the Kofta sauce was rly well done, but the meat was a bit dry - maybe overcooked. Great meal at Olive and Finches new theater district location.
