Ordered one Kabuli Pulao, one mix kabab platter and one chicken curry. The kabuli pulao had a good taste but was served super cold, I had to ask the server to reheat it. The mix kabab platter was reasonably okay too. The chicken curry was just chicken drenched in oil. They had mentioned that they bake their own bread but the Naan was super cold and hard.
My husband suggest this restaurant to try. We didn’t expect much of it. But it exceeded our expectation. My picky eater teens, both of them love their sandwiches, specially the fries. The seasoning for their fries is different than any other restaurant we’ve been. So so gooood. My husband order lamb curry and it tastes good as well. And my Calzone come unexpectedly very big, it looks like 14 inch long and it’s gooood, I can only finish 1/3 of them. And the most importantly for us, it’s all HALAL meat.
One of my favorite things here is that they make fat, bready, substantial pita bread, they don’t try to serve you that paper-thin, cardboard flavored “pita” bread. Everything else is good too.
Tried this place for the first time. We ordered two Gyro dinners for lunch. The rice, mini hummus, and pita were tasty and the service was quick with good portion sizes. Maybe we went too early in the day because the only issue was the main issue with the gyro. I've never seen gyro served in bits and peices. That part I could get past except the bits were just as hard and dry as they look. If everyone loves this place maybe they just served us old overcooked peices from the day before since it was takeout. Consolation prize: Gave a small business a try.
I’ve tried many places in Denver, including Serena, Kabul Halal, and several others, but this restaurant truly stands out. The flavors are incredibly authentic and the food is consistently delicious. Every dish felt fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Afghan and Mediterranean cuisine. I will definitely be coming back!
