I love illegal Pete’s the service is always good even though they get very busy. I prefer illegal Pete’s over chipotle as the selection is more varied. The bar is nice at this location. Will continue coming back
Great bar, My favorite place to grab drinks before a Red Rocks show! I'd love to give them 5-stars but my last visit there was disappointing, everything that was supposed to be hot was cold, the meat was super dry to the point of crunchy and luke warm at best. Employees were nice so I will be back to give them another chance.
Illegal Pete’s on Colfax is a solid casual spot for burritos and quick Mexican food. The menu has good options, and the portions are fair for the price. The atmosphere is relaxed and a little different, which makes it a nice place to stop by with friends or grab takeout. The food was tasty overall, though it can feel a bit busy and rushed at peak times. Service was fine, and the full bar is a nice bonus. Overall, a reliable place for a casual meal.

The atmosphere is relaxed and a little different from a typical fast-casual place, which makes it a nice stop if you’re in the area. Service was fine overall, though it can get busy and feel a bit rushed at times. The food was good, but not anything too extraordinary. Overall, a reliable place for a casual meal or takeout.
My 1st time here and the food was just OK. Burritos are big but for $10-14 for just a burrito depending on what you get inside, it can get a bit pricey. Nice layout with a big open patio and a good draft beer selection. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
