Improper City

Excellent spot to go with friends to grab food and drinks! The outdoor area is large and has multiple tables, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs & fire pits, and even multiple cornhole games. The food truck there the night we went was BBQ, and our group loved it. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, it wasn’t too crowded and we found a table to post up at.

We had our 40th birthday party here and it was an awesome experience throughout the entire process. The team made it incredibly easy to choose and book a spot and communication was a breeze. The venue itself is an absolute blast and our guests loved the drink selection, food truck, and overall RiNo vibe. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a spot for their private event

We rented out The Perch, a semi-private mezzanine space, for a surprise birthday party on a Sunday evening. The stairs made it easy to hide the surprise - something to consider if that's part of your plan. We had ~30 people, including some kiddos, and the space was just right. It was very competitively priced compared to other options in the area. The Improper City team was kind and helpful - special shoutout to Emily who went above and beyond to take great care of us.

Great spot with an awesome atmosphere. Improper City does a great job bringing together good drinks, good people, and a creative, community-driven space. I’ve had some of my wood art hung there, which speaks to how much they support local artists and makers. Always a fun place to hang out and spend time in Denver.
