Went here for Umphreys 1/17/26. It took 45 minutes to get into the venue after getting in line, because they dont have a metal detector scanner thingy at the entrance and have just 2 people doing pat down searches. This is the only venue I have been to in many many years that still does it this way and doesn't have the metal detector things that you walk thru. Not only that, but just 2 people doing the searches? Come on. The line was around the corner all the way down spruce street for a block, and it held up the line really bad, so they should have had more people doing the searches. Then there was inside the venue.... They heavily over-sold the show, there were wayyyyyy too many people there for such a small venue. People were packed in there like sardines. It was *extremely* uncomfortable with no room to move around at all during the show. Shoulder to shoulder, stomach to back. The aisles were clogged full of people, so just going to get a drink was extremely difficult. It was so uncomfortable that I had to move wayyyy back by the bar just to have the smallest bit of personal space, but you cant even see anything on the stage from back there (and im pretty tall). So there were just wayyyy too many people there for the size of the venue, and it was unbearably uncomfortable. The sound quality was terrible. I have seen over 100 Umphreys shows and the sound here was one of the worst I have experienced. Wasnt the band, it was the venue. Also, there is only 1 set of bathrooms in the entire venue so if you just needed to pee it took awhile because there was a big line. Not to mention having to fight your way through a sea of jampacked people just to get to the back where the bathrooms are.

Nice inside parking garage close. To park in 3 bucks a hour which is good. Bar right in the middle as you come in to sit. Food they had not didn't get any. Basic seating but if you have to get. Out everybody needs to squeeze are. Stand up and shuffle out to the main aisle. As for the meet and greet after wards not bad. Have to form a line in the aisle. So getting out a little tricky but not bad.

The boulder theater doesn’t disappoint! We saw Leftover Salmon and not a bad seat in the house! This venue has you up close and personal with the music!

Really cool theater, I had never been here before but Mark Normand brought me so I had to come. I thought the seats would be uncomfortable but they were surprising super comfortable and they even slid back a little bit so they were even more comfortable! The bathrooms had enough stalls and were actually big enough that I could turn around and not have to step in pee to get out so it was just a quite enjoyable experience. The only downside was that AXS site was not working but that has nothing to do with the Boulder theater and they actually handle a bunch of tickets and we're very quick on their feet about acting.

Have been to shows a few times now & a good time was had at each show. Last night Max McNown was so enjoyable. Such energy on the stage & with the crowd. Perfect smaller venue to see a concert ❤️🎶
