I've been a member of this athletic club for a while, and it's a great place with an even better staff. Kyle, the new General Manager, has done an excellent job creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. You can tell he genuinely cares about the members and the club. Gary is always around keeping the facility clean and taking the time to talk with members to make sure everyone is doing well. It's the little things like that that make this place stand out. Fred at the front desk is always friendly, professional, and ready to help with a smile. He makes checking in quick and easy and always makes you feel welcome. If you're looking for a clean and friendly gym with staff who truly care about their members I highly recommend this athletic club!
All the staff here, at the location I’m at, really go above and beyond for guest experience. They understand what it means to make sure you have everything you need to lock in and level up.
Great gym. I've been going here now for 4 years or so. Love the amenities. Some of the equipment could use and upgrade, but it has everything I need for my workout. The staff are great and all nice. The only dings I'd say are price and hours. This gym is pretty expensive and I could forgive that if the hours weren't so poor for the price. They really need to be open longer. Especially on Friday and the weekends. Other than City recs, this place DAC and TAC are really the only gyms around downtown area and all of them have longer hours. Opening at 8 and closing at 4 on the weekends is ridiculous. CO is full of early risers who might want to get a workout in before starting their days, or may want to relax after a long morning hike or mountain trip. With a new company coming in I really hope that you all take a hard look at whether these hours make sense.
My husband and I canceled our membership - filled out the form, signed and everything - and we’re still being charged three months after. When we went back in the first time to let them know, they then busted out an iPad for us to fill out more information than was asked the first time. Still being charged after that, we went back in a third time to let them know. We ended up blocking them from our bank, and today we received a notice that payments have been sent to collection. Now we’re being forced to pay or it will impact our credit. Totally shameful, unethical and slimy. There are a lot of other gyms around the city who have a great facility for less price and don’t make it impossible to get out of.
I call these photos “Salt in a Wound”. I rode my bike to Colorado Athletic Club today, only to be greeted by a smug and unrelenting Kim. She tells me her General Manager Jeff, “doesn’t like to see bicycles on the floor.” So you could imagine my surprise at seeing someone else’s bicycle in the very spot I wished to occupy. The other two photos are of their vacant cafe and seating area. Areas that are undoubtedly considered when calculating our monthly dues. They could’ve said, “Only just for today.” Or “Fine, because it’s raining.” Nope! One would hope that a business on 16th street mall would kindly make this accommodation. Especially considering all the free space they have and all the wanton destruction and crime on the mall. Thanks Kim, you’re a real peach! Thank goodness for Trainers like Garrett! Consummate professional, knowledgeable and kind! He’s the only reason I’m likely to remain at this gym! He’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
