Lived there for a year and here’s my experience They ask you not to run A/C when it’s below 60 degrees and pop a window? For a “luxury” apartment absolutely absurd. If you have any issue with the A/C they’ll tell you it was because that 1 time you used it when it was too cold a month ago The apartment inside and out is covered in dog urine that is cleaned semi frequently Other than that it’s actually pretty decent except the people in charge. Marcella Majalca is awful out front she’s going to look at you with disgust anytime you need help. They tell you when your leaving that there is no way your going to clean your apartment well enough for inspection so you should get a $200 cleaning fee. That seems reasonable we picked up everything gave it a wipe down but I didn’t go crazy because there’s a cleaning crew. Actually what that cleaning crew is for is to apparently just wipe dust and make it smell nice apparently. Marcella gives us an email with a bunch of attitude something I haven’t seen before getting scolded. All to charge us an extra whopping $40. If they just would have been nice and said hey we had to charge you an extra $40 for cleaning I would have been totally cool with it. Then she tries to charge us for damage that someone already confirmed wasn’t our fault with more attitude. And I could have actually gotten past all that but then they charged $190 for a 58 day notice on rent when we were in verbal communication during that time about renewing . These people are just trying to nickel and dime you every step of the way to get your security deposit . Again if they were polite and said hey it’s our policy we do this with everyone im sorry I actually could have gotten over it again. But they are smug and don’t care. Just a little icing they let me know on the last possible day they were allowed to that they’ve changed their policy on the banking information we gave them and would have to return a different signed piece of paper by the end of the day to get an electronic deposit back. I’m not going to go track down a fax machine for $80 but again just this place deliberately being difficult to stick it to you for giving them a hard time.
I moved here in October last year, and while I have had some issues with the apartment this will always happen eventually and the key difference is how helpful the staff are here In particular, Trey always goes above and beyond and is genuinely one of the friendliest people you'll meet. Knowing he's on the team would be the main reason I could definitely recommend living here
This building is amazing! I don't have anything but great things to say. Trey has been incredibly helpful since day one and is always willing to answer any questions. The management (specifically Nina) is very communicative and on top of things around the property, when answering questions about leases, etc. It is always clean and well taken care of in the hot tub, gym, community spaces, hallways, etc. The maintenance team is amazing, especially Cliff! I would say it is pretty quiet, especially for being downtown Denver. I did a lot of research into complexes in the area, and this is by far my favorite one!!
This building and the staff are absolutely incredible and I can’t emphasize this enough!! Such a clean and well run building I love it here. Trey at the front is a great guy, always smiling and friendly and goes out of his way to get what whatever we need. Really hard worker and we are lucky to have him. Cliff is maintenance is a hero and has gone out of his way to go above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. He made my issues a priority, even when it was technically not required. Really goes out of his way to help! Shout out to him! Maria, who cleans the common areas, is so lovely and she works so hard and you can tell by just how clean and pristine every inch of this place is. Much love to the Griffis LoDo staff ❤️ I also really love the location. It’s in a relatively quiet spot downtown, close to almost everything you could need on foot.
I want to start off by saying that all of the staff at Griffis are AMAZING. Me and my boyfriend moved to Denver from Seattle at the beginning of December and were definitely stressed about finding a good apartment for us and our cat. Our first experience with Griffis started at the tour. Our tour guide was Trey and he was so helpful in explaining everything we needed to know about moving in, pet policies, and overall getting to know the building. He was very upfront with every single fee that would be charged. This was something that meant a lot to us as residents. We knew right off the bat that this was where we wanted to live. The location is truly amazing, they have great amenities, and everyone (and their pets) are so welcoming and friendly. Throughout the entire move in process, Trey has been right there to explain everything to us. Staff usually respond to emails super quick and have picked up the phone anytime I call. Overall our experience has been amazing, simple, and exciting! I am so happy to call Griffis my home!!
