Black Eye Coffee

New favorite neighborhood coffee spot unlocked! Stumbled upon this place yesterday walking my dog and came back the next morning to get coffee and burritos. Excellent coffee, food is delicious, vibes are immaculate, and the staff is so so kind and friendly. Will be coming back again and again!

This is exactly what I want in a cafe (writes with big sigh of relief with a smile). The sun comes in so nice against the brick & plant covered space. I cannot over-state how lovely it is to be in a place that choose calm, relaxing music (lots of 70s blues and jazz) vs forcing me to try to tune out bubblegum pop played in many other Denver coffee shops. Kind staff and yummy coffee to top it all off. Thank you :)

The atmosphere was so super cute: antic cabinets with dried flowers and art in the restroom, cozy wooden tables with concrete floors, ceramic cups available for eat in, and friendly Bautista. We got drinks: strawberry refresher, ice spiced chai, and small black coffee with cream. My man raved over his first sip of the coffee and raved again with his second sip. He's not impressed easily. My chai tasted... real. After having so many made from syrup and boxed mix, I could taste the tea, spices, and real sugar. So good!!

I am so happy the Denver shortlist coffee map sent me here!! It has great vibes inside, expansive menu, super friendly staff, tons of tables for working, comfy chairs and tables for playing the board games they have. And they have a few patio chairs for the dogs. 10/10

My new favorite Denver coffee shop! You can actually taste the coffee in the latte, the flavor was delish, the golden milk chai was also so yummy! They also had Moe’s bagels, which was another big hit! Yum! I’ll be back for sure.
