Two Canvases, Glitter and No Experience: A Lakewood Paint Pour

PAINT POUR! 2 Canvases + Add Glitter! is a guided paint and sip class at Painting with a Twist - Lakewood on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants create two canvases using the acrylic pour technique, with glitter added to the process. It is a good pick for a Saturday afternoon because you leave with two finished pieces. Check the price on the seller's ticket page before you book.

The main draw is the format: two canvases in one guided session, with glitter built into the pour. The ticket page describes the class as guided, so you follow a set of steps rather than working it out alone at a table. In an acrylic pour, paint is poured onto the surface and spreads across it, so the colors move on the canvas instead of sitting where you placed them. That movement is what makes the afternoon feel like making something rather than copying a sketch.

The class is built for beginners. According to the event listing, you need no prior skill, and all painting materials are provided on site. It suits first-timers, friends booking together, and anyone who wants a structured afternoon that ends with a finished piece to take home.

The class runs for two hours. You choose a 12x12 canvas or an 11x14 canvas, and the event listing sets out both options. Drinks are served at the Inspiration Bar during the session, including wine, beer, ciders, seltzers, water and soft drinks. Colorado law prohibits BYOB, so plan to order from the bar.

The studio is at 7134 W Alaska Dr, Lakewood, CO 80226. For parking, the free lot at the Belmar shopping center, 451 S. Allison Pkwy, is the option named on the studio page. Arrive early enough to settle in before the session begins. The seller sets the price, so confirm the current figure on the ticket page before you book.
