Best of Denver Comedy Showcase: Free Pizza on Wednesdays

The Best of Denver Comedy Showcase is a six-Wednesday run in the basement at Denver Comedy Underground, 675 22nd St in Arapahoe Square. The venue's event listing gives the run as October 14 through November 18, 2026. An earlier version of this page said Tuesday. The Wednesday dates below replace it.

The 303Happenings event listing offers free pizza with no two-item minimum, so the food does not depend on a second order. The venue's events page says the free pizza applies to all nights except Open Mic Night. The showcase nights are not Open Mic Night.

The same 303Happenings listing describes intimate, comfortable seating in a small venue and advises getting to the show early for the best seats. Ballpark Denver calls the club a basement theater and lists Thursday-through-Saturday lineups, open mics and improv nights alongside the Wednesday showcase. A small room fills from the front, which is the dry arithmetic behind the early-arrival advice.

The venue record says Denver Comedy Underground takes reservations and serves beer, wine and cocktails. It is listed as good for groups, so a party can book ahead rather than hope for adjoining seats. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. Google shows a 4.8 of 5 rating from 612 ratings. After drinks, take transit or a rideshare home rather than driving.

The club is at 675 22nd St, Denver, CO 80205. The venue record lists free street parking and paid street parking. The 303Happenings listing also mentions a large parking lot right next to the venue, plus street parking, so a car has more than one option.
