The class starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 8:30 PM, a two-hour plan with a fixed finish. Everything happens at one address, so there is no route to plan between stops. Phemme leads step by step, so the room paints the same piece together.

The event page says to come 15-20 minutes early, which puts guests in their seats ahead of the start.

No painting experience is needed. The event page describes step-by-step guidance, which suits anyone new to painting and anyone who prefers a guided activity to a blank canvas.

Guests who want beer or wine must be 21 or older with a valid ID. That rule applies to buying drinks at the bar.

Two canvas sizes are offered: 16x20 Canvas and 11x14 Canvas. Ticket prices are shown by the seller on the event page.

The Inspiration Bar serves wine, beer, ciders, seltzers, water and soft drinks. Colorado law prohibits BYOB, so drinks come from the bar. The Painting with a Twist Lakewood studio page says the same: alcohol is for purchase, and there is no BYOB.

The studio is in Belmar, across the street from Bar Louie, per its contact page. The class address is 7134 W Alaska Dr. Parking is free at the Belmar shopping center on Alaska Dr.

The studio's phone number is (720) 508-3645. Studio office hours are Thursday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and event times may differ, so the class keeps its own 6:30 to 8:30 PM schedule. Office hours end as the class begins, so questions for staff fit best earlier in the day.

Tickets are sold through the event page, where the seller shows the price.

The studio page lists two classes the next evening, Friday, October 16:

• Fall Glow, 5:00 PM
• Bright Forest, 6:30 PM

Fall Glow starts at 5:00 PM, an earlier option than the Thursday class. Bright Forest shares the Thursday class's 6:30 PM start. Prices for both are on the studio page.

Is painting experience required for Frightful Forest Friends? No. The event page lists no experience needed, with step-by-step guidance from the instructor.

Can guests bring their own wine? No. The studio page lists alcohol for purchase only, and Colorado law prohibits BYOB.

What does the class cost? See the price at the seller on the event page.

What time does the class start and end? Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Denver time.

Updated 2026-10-15: renamed from A Spooky Patch to Frightful Forest Friends, added contact details and the October 16 classes from the studio pages, and removed unsourced materials and apron lines and the first-person-style FAQ sentence.
