A large fountain in Civic Center Park featuring two bronze sea lions ridden by cherubs, facing each other from opposite sides of a 60-by-30-foot pool. The playful figures rise from the water on ornamental pedestals.

About the Artist
Robert Garrison
Robert Garrison (1895-1943) was an Iowa-born American sculptor who trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and made his career in Denver, creating numerous architectural ornaments and public works. He later completed sculptural panels for Rockefeller Center in New York.
