We had an incredible time attending the 2:00 PM matinee of The Notebook, and the entire experience from start to finish was top-notch. The performers were absolutely wonderful—I highly recommend catching this show if you can! A few tips for your visit: • Arrival & Parking: We used the parking deck, which was very convenient. My advice is to arrive as early as possible, as downtown traffic can be a bit of a challenge. • The Entry: Once we arrived, getting inside was a complete breeze. The staff was incredibly friendly and directed us exactly where we needed to go. • The Atmosphere: We sat in the Mezzanine level, which I loved. It provided a perfect view of the stage, and the acoustics were fantastic—we could hear every note and line perfectly. • Dress Code: For a 2:00 PM show, "Business Casual" is the sweet spot. You can dress up a bit and feel right at home, but you won't feel out of place if you keep it a little more relaxed. • Food & Drink: Just an FYI—the snacks and drinks are definitely at theater prices (overpriced), so you might want to grab a bite or a drink before you arrive.
Love the Buell Theatre! Seen many a play there including the Grinch, Lion King, and Book of Mormon. Epic experience every single time!
I have been going to the theatre since I was a kid! It’s always such a great experience. Friendly staff, beautiful and clean building. So many memories have been made here. Lion King is definitely one of my favorites.
Very nice theater. Less impressive than the opera house but of course it is lol. The shows we have seen here have been hit or miss. Seats are comfortable and sound system is good. Staff is always friendly. Overall, great theater and fun experience!
