The Denver Public Library Central Library at 10 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy. is the flagship of the Denver Public Library system, which also includes 28 branch locations and two bookmobiles. The building includes a 1995 addition designed by Michael Graves, and the Central Library is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can use the Central Library ideaLAB, on the southwest end of the fourth floor in the Community Technology Center, which offers a Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer, an Original Prusa i3 MK3S, a Glowforge Pro laser cutter and a recording studio that can be reserved. The Red Chair Bookshop is open Saturday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library page lists hours of Monday through Thursday 10 to 6, Friday 10 to 5, and Saturday and Sunday 11 to 5. A Denver Post guest commentary published July 11, 2025 says the library closes on Fridays starting July 6, 2025. That conflicts with the library page's Friday hours, and neither source is settled here.
