Acerca de este evento
Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country Brings Psychedelic Country to Boulder
Nashville guitar virtuoso Daniel Donato returns to Colorado for the second night of his Boulder Theater residency, delivering his signature blend of traditional country and cosmic improvisation. As part of his Horizons Winter Tour 2026, this all-ages show promises extended jams, honky-tonk storytelling, and the kind of guitar mastery that's made Donato a rising star in the jam-country scene.
The 600-capacity Boulder Theater provides an intimate setting for Donato's exploratory performances, where traditional Nashville picking meets Grateful Dead-inspired improvisation. Fans can expect deep cuts from A Young Man's Country alongside newer material and the spontaneous musical journeys that define the Cosmic Country experience.
This is night two of a two-night Boulder run, part of Donato's winter tour that's taking his cosmic country sound to venues across the American West. The show welcomes all ages, with attendees under 16 requiring adult accompaniment.

Americana
Daniel Donato is a Nashville-based guitarist who emerged from the city's honky-tonk bars to become one of country music's most adventurous young artists. Born in 1994, Donato worked his way through the rowdy clubs of Broadway before forming Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, a band that blends traditional country with psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, and improvised jams. His guitar work combines the precision of chicken-picking country with the exploratory spirit of the Grateful Dead, creating what he calls 'cosmic country' — a sound that honors Nashville tradition while pushing into uncharted sonic territory.
