If you’re looking for the absolute best comfort food vibe in downtown Denver, I highly recommend Tony Tenderoni's. The food hits the spot every single time - so consistent! The chicken tenders are insanely juicy and tender, paired perfectly with their amazing fries and excellent house lager. Plus, they throw down an amazing happy hour and regular deals that give you incredible value on top of their already affordable beer. The kitchen is completely dialed in, so you get that same perfect consistency with every single order. What really sets them apart is their sauce game. They have an incredibly creative lineup of sauces, and of the 8 or so I’ve tried, literally all of them are amazing. What really takes this place to the next level, though, is the hospitality. Most of all, the incredibly friendly service and the lively, communal feel make you feel welcome the second you step inside. A special shout-out to Taylor and Adam behind the bar-they crush it, treat you like an old friend, and keep the great energy going. If you’re a nearby local or just stopping through Denver for a quick trip, Tony Tenderoni’s is an absolute must-visit.
Great spot! They use panko breading for the chicken tenders which are super tasty. They also have naked tenders and vegetarian tenders. The smash burger is delicious, too! The arcade games are a nice touch. Will be back
If you want to know the best place to get a hot dog I can tell you. If you want to know where the best chicken tenders are it's at Tenderonis. The biggest yet freshest chicken tenders ive ever had. 1 or 2 could fill someone up. Just wish it came with more sauce.
This place has no right being this good for a reasonable price. The chicky tendies are crisp, reasonably breaded, and taste amazing. For like $15, you get a giant plate of food that kept me running the rest of the night. Staff were responsive and the food came very quickly. Highly recommend.
We went to Tony’s on New Year’s Eve expecting a casual sports bar to watch the game—and ended up having an outstanding experience. We had a few friends planning to join us, so we ordered the largest portion of chicken strips they offer. First off: the size of these strips was unmatched. Second: the flavor and breading were absolutely perfect. It’s clear there’s someone in the kitchen who really knows what they’re doing. On top of that, we met Adam, the GM, who spent a solid 15 minutes talking with us and making sure everything was top tier—even though it already was thanks to the incredible bartenders, especially Jose and Matt. We also had no idea Tony’s is a 49ers bar, which made the night even better. (A few days later) Adam went out of his way to make sure we had great seats for the Sunday game and introduced us not only to the leaders of the local 49ers group, but also to the regulars who come out for games. From the start, we felt welcomed and included. Beyond the game, the atmosphere was just plain fun—plenty of bar games like skee-ball and others that kept the night lively and gave everyone something to do between plays. Plus the TVs literally COVER the walls. Huge shoutout to Hannah as well, and to the rest of the bartending/kitchen staff who kept things moving all night and made sure everyone was taken care of for the massive crowd! (I do mean massive) this is the place to watch sports, period!
