Osaka Ramen RiNo Patio

My ramen was pretty good but my companions has some complaints about theirs. We are outside because the weather was perfect I didn't really experience their indoor ambiance.

Food is fantastic and menu is creative. The restaurant has a very casual atmosphere. If you are in the neighborhood looking for a great bowl of ramen, stop in.

The char on the ribs and pork belly were perfect and the ramen was full of more than just noodles and meat- bamboo, soft poached egg, and mushrooms which made up for the simple flavored broth.

We went here per a recommendation on one of those Denver dining sites. I feel like certain things are a hit or a miss. My boyfriend got the spicy miso, and it was very flavorful and very delicious. I was going to get their tonkatsu ramen, but did a last minute decision change to their off menu special lamb ramen. It was probably the worse decision ever. When the bowl was brought out, it was so colorful and seemed very flavorful. However, it was the most bland Ramen I could ever have. It was no better than eating braised lamb and ramen noodles in plain boiled water. There was no flavor and it was so bad I couldn't even finish it and I always finish my food. I'll probably go back and try that tonkatsu ramen, but never again will I stray from their menu.

The chicken ramen was very good, lots of very soft chicken and a perfectly cooked egg. I won't be back to this location though. The powerful smell of moth balls was unappetizing to me.
