Katy was great on the phone when I called to ask some questions, oysters were delicious, wine on tap was yummy, service was great! Happy hour is the time to come! It was busy but the wait wasn’t longer than 20.
After at least 100 visits here over 10 years, Im going to leave a review about the consistent food and service at Angelos. Yesterday we had a party of 12 for my sisters college graduation. They only seat 10 and we ended up calling to come early for two tables of 6, only for us to be late. A manager got us set up next to each other and then let the food games begin. Ive never had a meal here I didn’t like but entrees stole the show with the lobster gnocchi, duck strozzapreti and bison ravioli with vodka sauce. We also had four toddlers and obvious cheese pizza and spaghetti kept them happy all night. It’s not lame pizza and spaghetti either, it’s the kind we hope they don’t eat all of. Appetizers of bison carpaccio, lamb lollipops, crab sliders, oysters a la every type imaginable. Also desserts galore (chocolate ravioli is my fave). Anyways, you get the idea. The service by the wait staff and management was what I keep coming back for. Attentive, helpful and humorous. Thanks Angelos, you made another special night unforgettable.
My favorite place to go to for pasta and charbroiled oysters. The classic oysters are soooo good — not a fan of the special flavors offered. This is one of the better pasta and oyster spots in Denver, and I might argue one of the best among mid-range pricing. I really appreciate their list of wine and other alcoholic beverages. It’s a great place to check out for happy hour and dinner as the mood lighting and seating offers an intimate feel and relaxing vibe. Very good for date night or a solo adventure. Both times I have stopped in have been solo, and it’s a nice spot to treat yourself to a “me-date.”
Whether it's lunchtime, Happy Hour, or dinner, we're always satisfied with their offerings. Freshly shucked oysters, made-to-order pizza, and to-die-for tiramisu ~~ my mouth is salivating as I'm writing this and reliving those experiences 🤤 I would move to Denver just to be closer to this place 😆
I love the appetizer pork (I forget the exact name) but it’s in the picture. I would really like to go back just to get that. The bread is super mid. I ordered squash gnocchi and it’s a little bit oily for me. Both the cannoli and the tiramisu are good for dessert
