This is a cool venue, it's well laid out, the sound is decent, and it's a good place for metalheads and punks to come mosh and have a good time. However, there's absolutely nothing in the way of security at the door. Unlike pretty much at any other venue, there are no bag checks or metal detectors. Unfortunately, in this day and age it makes me feel a little unsafe.

The people at HQ were great but I cannot recommend the venue. It was so hot and humid in there and this is CO....so the humid was probably people contributed. Ewww. I don't plan to go back but I can't say "don't go see your favorite band" based on my experience.

This place is an absolute vibe—seriously, one of my all-time favorite spots in the city! Every time I roll in, the drinks are flowing, the beats are bumping, and the atmosphere is on point. The service? Stellar. Whether you’re here to chill with friends or looking to get your dance on, the staff at HQ are always on top of it. They’ve got those perfect cocktails and that friendly vibe you need for a great night out. And let’s talk about the music—depending on who’s playing, you might just have found your new go-to place. Each artist brings something fresh to the mix, and the vibe shifts from chill to electric. HQ is like a choose-your-own-adventure bar/lounge where every night is a little different, and every night is a blast. Don’t just take my word for it—grab some friends, check it out yourself, and I promise you’ll be hooked. HQ is a gem in Denver, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Some of the best nights of my life have been at this place! The staff is exceptional from the owner, bartenders, people running the sound and security! Next door to two amazing places to eat late night makes this place one of the best venues for a fun night. They have amazing shows and treat their performers very well. This place is a blast to attend and a privilege to perform 🤘
