Please give Alex a raise. Love him so much. Want to put him in my pocket and take him home with me. And Rose(?) (sorry was starstruck by Alex) was so cool and … played really good music all night
Came in for drinks at 7:30pm and initially had a great experience thanks to Everett behind the bar — friendly, helpful, and genuinely great at his job. Unfortunately, once the bartenders switched over at 8:00pm and the DJ came in, the entire atmosphere changed almost immediately. While we were playing pool and celebrating less than 1 minute of wins by yelling and laughing, “omg did you see that! I did it!” (a total of 5 minutes at the pool table, mind you) another bartender (Temu Hagrid) stormed over with clenched fists with his hands in the air, got in my friend’s face, and screamed, “YOUT NEED TO STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!” Completely unprovoked, aggressive, yelling, and honestly shocking behavior from someone working in hospitality. We were genuinely afraid and thought he was going to hit us. Additionally, the DJ kept pushing past us as if we were in her way and not saying anything… that’s where the pool table is. Use your words.. also… again it was a 5 minute pool table experience in less than 30 minutes of being in this bar. We were 4 of 8 people in the bar. We chose to clean the area after this honestly scary experience & leave immediately because no one should feel physically intimidated by bar staff over simply existing in the space. One employee saved the experience temporarily, but the other destroyed it entirely. 0/10. Would never recommend.
Love, Love, Love Hi Dive! Never seen a bad show there. Great intimate setting. Psyched they have many CO bands play there.
Great dive bar for local live music!! Was recommended this place as out of towners and saw a couple of fantastic bands, both with different distinct sounds which I really appreciated. The sound was loud and clear. Great drinks at insanely fair prices. Staff were friendly, facilities were clean, plus a photo booth!! This is a must visit spot.
Great bar to watch live music...one of the OG Denver spots. Service is great, vibe is killer and you can see some fabulous music right in the middle of the city. Highly recommend (not fancy, come as you are).
Exactly the place I needed to find on a weekend. Staff was quick to serve and attentive. Decent sound system for live band. Good vibe and good people. Will make it a point to go back next time I'm in Denver. Reasonably priced goods.
My bestie and I are here for Beherit. We had drinks at the bar before the show started, Christine was our bartender and she is SO friendly and knowledgeable with her drinks. Billie was great! So knowledgeable about the venue and super friendly, slay girl!! They made us feel welcomed and at home. George was very helpful too, so nice!! 🤘
Super small venue (all the better to see your favorite band up close). Laid back atmosphere - although that may have been influenced by the crowd Jaguar sun and Meltt would draw. Very clean bathrooms for a bar.
Fun bar to come and see live music. Went to support a small band and was met with a good atmosphere and positive vibes. The staff at the door were welcoming and we're thorough with checking ID. The bar tender was pleasant and fast. Overall great experience.
Good prices. Great stage. Friendly staff. We were near at the back of the crowd and still were very close to the stage, we had an easy time seeing and hearing. I loved that there were little shelves all over if you need to put something down for a sec. The bar is long, well stocked and well staffed. I never had to wait long for a drink, all the drinks were cold and tasty. If it gets a bit too loud, it was super easy to step out to a little area close to the bar (or outside if you are 21+) to re-regulate and get back in there. It made for a great show!
