I frequent the area for lunch and dinner and hadn't tried the food since they transitioned away from The Mighty. Their new Burger is fantastic! Sure, I may miss the Mighty, but I believe this change was one for the better. My friend had the smoked wings love them. We'll eating here more often!
First time visiting and was amazing. Bartender was friendly and service was great. The beers were cold and a great selection of drafts. My husband liked the IPA and I enjoyed the Mexican lager. There is a food truck inside with options that looked great. Nice open space and outside has misters on a hot day. If you are in the area, you need to go in for a drink.
Easily the worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. My wife said she would have rather skipped eating altogether than finish hers. I powered through mine only because I paid $18 and didn’t want to waste it. The chicken was under-battered, overcooked, and had the texture of a rubber rain boot. Just brutal. To be fair, the atmosphere is great and the employees are cool. no complaints there. If you’re coming for drinks, you’ll probably have a good time. But do yourself a favor: under no circumstances should you order the chicken sandwich.
Have been a regular at DB Arvada since the store opened. The beer is great and fresh - Pedal is my post cycle ride hydrator - and the limited-edition pours are creative and tasty. But the team is what really makes the joint. It is one of those "hire the heart and train the hands" places. There is not a single beertender who isn't genuinely welcoming and sincerely nice to the visitors. But, dropping this review because I was pretty concerned about some changes. They took some brewing tanks out to make more room for tables and fannies and revamped the food service from the ground up. Turns out my angst was misplaced. The extra seating helps a lot and with more guests still feels less crowded. But the biggest relief was the change in the food truck. The Mighty Burger truck inside the building was gutted and the menu changed. Many would go to the Arvada store simply for the Mighty Burger. Turns out that the expanded menu (now with wings and other offerings) was a great move. Had a burger today and it was, well, great. What's improved? The new burger is leaner and just as tasty. As good as it was, the prior MB was greasy and messy, A huge improvement with the new offering. The fryer system has also been improved. Not sure if they are frying hotter or with different oil. But the fries are crispy and yummy. Someone at the next table told me her wings were, "excellent." Overall, I am rapidly warming to the changes and am happy to see the friendly team behind the bar is their usual welcoming and funny selves. Cheers.
We've been coming to this bar for trivia for a few months. Recently they changed their rules on dogs in the bar. We showed up with our dogs not knowing the new rule. A really sweet lady allowed us to keep our dogs here this time because we didn’t know. Then a man was rude as hell to us without even trying to communicate like an adult. Yikes. Truly ruined the nice vibe of the brewery and our time.
