Great coffee shop. Excellent coffee. We had a flat white and a mocha. The mocha was not overly sweet which was awesome. The flavor of the espresso in both drinks - just delicious, a touch sour without being bitter & full of intense flavor. The blackberry toast and quiche pictured here both excellent. Although the toast really needed more mint. ASK FOR EXTRA! The display of pastries is very impressive & extremely fresh. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere hip, laid back & very vibey.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Boxcar on pearl has been one of my favorite coffee shops in Boulder for years. They were actually neighbors to a business I used to work at, so I’ve been lucky enough to stop in more times than I can count. Their seasonal drink menu is always creative and gives me a reason to come back every few months, and the bakery is genuinely one of the best in Boulder. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and their croissants are hands-down my favorite in town. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or treating yourself to a pastry, Boxcar consistently delivers. A Boulder staple that never disappoints. Boxcar Coffee | Pearl Cafe and Bakery Their rotating seasonal menu and in-house bakery have become part of what they’re known for. Plus they
On my first morning on a bike trip to Boulder, I stopped into Boxcar for some coffee. The interior was simple and clean, with some multi-origin bagged coffee for sale on one wall, some seating, and friendly service. I ordered the iced coffee to go; it was prepared swiftly and with a smile. The coffee was delicious—bold and strong. It tasted like a medium roast and made the walk back down Pearl Street all the more enjoyable!
Amazing coffee and good pastries. The place is always crowded with a mix of people with laptops and also people just there to have a chat. But you can always find a small table because it seems the place is big enough.
Great atmosphere. Awesome crew working there. Wifi was great too. The only thing is that they almost had no outlet, so my friend with a PC was worried about his battery all the time (I use mac.)
