Why a two-hour guided class is worth the afternoon

The class runs two hours, which fits inside a Saturday afternoon without taking the whole day. Nothing needs to be packed: the studio provides the painting materials, and the class is guided, so nobody has to plan a design from scratch (event listing).

The start and end times are fixed, which makes it easy to build the rest of the day around them.

Who the class suits

The class is all ages. No experience is needed, so a first-time painter and someone who has painted before are both covered (event listing).

The sip half of paint and sip is alcohol, and the studio has a firm rule about it, covered below.

Canvas or wood plank board: what each costs

Each painter picks one of two projects:

16x20 Canvas: $40
16x20 Wood Plank Board: $50

Both are 16x20, so the choice comes down to the surface you paint on. See the price at the seller for the all-in total before paying (ticket page).

Drinks, address and start time

All alcohol must be purchased at the studio. There is no BYOB (event listing). Leave any bottles at home and buy a drink there if you want one while you paint.

The studio is at 7600 Park Meadows Dr #950, Lone Tree, CO 80124. The class starts at 2:00 PM Denver time and ends at 4:00 PM, so put the address into your map app before you leave.
