About This Artwork
Twelve oval-shaped granite seating stones, each standing two feet high, arranged in casual groupings outside the Colorado Convention Center. The warm pink stones speckled with black and gray provide organic forms contrasting with the angular architecture.

Jonathan Bonner
Jonathan Bonner (1947-2024) was a Princeton-born sculptor who received his MFA from RISD and spent his career in Providence, RI, creating large-scale public commissions in granite and metal for institutions including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Carnegie Museum.
