Excellent venue. Went in July and didn't experience the heat problems people describe in other reviews. It was comfortable and the place was packed for Dead Pioneers/cleaner/Team Nonexistent/I am the owl. Had a friend with ADA needs and they had a great area designated for chairs. Sound was excellent from a spot to the right of the soundboard.
If you're in the back third of the theater or not directly against the upper balcony, good luck seeing anything unless you're over 6' 2". The sound is excellent, and the venue itself is very classic and vaudeville. Totally worth the price we paid for the tickets, and I also love that the bar carried non alcoholic beers. Get there before doors open and you'll have a great time.
Cool place. Saw Michael Franti & Spearhead do an acoustic set the night before their Red Rocks gig, both awesome!! Only complaint was doors were at 7pm and it took them forever to get everyone in. Got there atound 7pm. We didn't get in until after 8pm. But Michael being the cool dude he is came out and said he wouldn't start playing until everyone was inside. And he played Say Hey (I Love You) right in front of us!! Still, Bluebird needs to speed up their process for getting folks inside.
Bluebird Theater provided an amazing live music experience with outstanding acoustics, a lively atmosphere, and a classic historic venue feel that made the night unforgettable. The theater itself has a unique character and charm, combining vintage architecture with an intimate concert setting that allows guests to feel close to the performance from almost anywhere inside the venue. I especially appreciated the excellent sound quality and the energetic atmosphere throughout the show. The staff members were friendly, organized, and helpful during entry, concessions, and throughout the event. The venue was clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate even during busy performances. The surrounding neighborhood also offered convenient access to restaurants, bars, and entertainment before and after the concert. Everything throughout the experience felt professional, exciting, and welcoming. This is definitely one of the best live music venues in Denver for concerts and memorable performances.
Awesome venue. Very comfortable even in a packed house. I loved the tiered flooring, too. Made it so easy to see the bands playing. The sound was also extremely good. Get there early so you can park across the street.
