About This Artwork

A 20-foot translucent obelisk standing near the Highline Pedestrian Bridge in Denver's Highland neighborhood. Constructed by filling nylon with sand and coating it in resin, then draining the sand to create a glowing hollow shell, internally lit by compact fluorescent lights.
