Saw a live concert here last week. Conveniently located in Old Town Fort Collins, staff was welcoming and efficient. Mostly standing space, general admission but there is a balcony that offered another bar, restrooms and some seats close to the rail. Large bags not permitted so plan ahead. Street parking and close by parking available. Close to bars and dining.
Not too bad of an experience. Few critiques, first the no re entry if you have to leave the venue very lame. Second no shots served at the bar, lame. You could make more money. Third the AC is blasting upstairs and it gets too cold under the air stream. Fourth the lights up stairs hit the people sitting in the chairs and it’s too bright in your face. Also there is a lot security everywhere it’s a bit too much.
We had a great time for sts9 colorado take over shows. The staff at this venue are pretty tight, they wont even allow you to bring a vape inside, make you throw them out at the door - super uncool. Staff is not heady! ready room sounds good and has a nice feel.
Saw my first show at Washington's last night and I was so thrilled to experience this venue. The staff were extremely friendly & genuine. It was not crowded (not sure if this is the norm but saw another mentioned they don't "over-sell" their shows). The bathrooms are squeaky clean and, as others have stated, there are two bars and it never seemed like there was a line at either. The coat check was a reasonable cost of $3 / item; I'd just request they move the "cash only" sign around the corner so that you know this before you get in line. The line moved quickly and the attendants were friendly & attentive. Others mentioned the lack of chairs but that did not bother me. I assumed this was a standing-only type venue based on the size and the type of acts I saw on their schedule. The only downside I noticed about this venue is the sound quality varies significantly depending on where you stand. The acoustics are the best on the floor level and about halfway back from the stage. They are also decent upstairs in the center section. I stood near the edge of the stage & in the front right corner and the sound was noticeably thinner and the vocals barely present because of the way the speakers were directed. The soundscape was just a bit muddy where you couldn't quite discern the articulation of any of the instruments except the drums. This isn't a huge deal if you know about it ahead of time -- and you can always move. It's worth mentioning that I am 5'2" so a taller person may experience these acoustics differently. Seeing Tank & the Bangas here was a 10/10 experience and I would absolutely drive an hour to see another show at this venue.
This was a great venue to see a live show. We saw They Might Be Giants and the sound was fantastic and we had a good view of the stage from the floor area. There are very limited options for chairs in the balcony area. Service was quick at the bar and the bathrooms were spotless. We look forward to coming back for another show in the future.
