The Honey Bee Hive

I bought a bunch of honey as gifts and they were divine!!! We kept two for ourselves and it was the best honey I’ve tried. Everyone I gifted to said the different flavors were all divine. The owners are also the SWEETEST.

I’ve loved every honey I’ve tried from these local superstars, but I gotta say…..the whiskey honey is my favorite. Or maybe it’s the lemon creamed honey. Or the cinnamon creamed one? Can’t go wrong with the wildflower honey either. Oh well….can’t decide….just going to have to keep getting all of them…..

Homestead in the hood is an Amazing small business making the most delicious, pure bee and honey products. They have a fantastic online store with a huge variety of homemade products ranging from authentic bees wax candles to honey to beauty products. Their online store is an Amazing place to buy holiday gifts and support a small biz. My favorite product of theirs is the cinnamon creamed honey. Aside from enjoying their products, I love following along their beekeeping journey on instagram to learn about the bees and the process they use to make all of their homemade honey bee goods!!

I got the honey soap, winter warrior honey & creamed honey. Everything was absolutely amazing!!!! The creamed honey is one of my absolute favorites. Highly recommend!

Wow, this honey is AMAZING! Discovered Homestead when we dropped our daughter off at Colorado Christian University and we picked up a sample of their honey. I was hooked immediately. Most honey I’ve had has been supermarket purchased so I didn’t know how good honey could bee (pun intended). The Homestead Honey was so much better than any of the honey I’ve had before. I can’t explain it but whatever flowers those bees are using, it translates into a honey that has to be tried to be fully appreciated; floral and sweet and simply delicious! It has elevated my tea time. I liked the Homestead honey so much I ordered the lavender, the Tipsy BeeKeeper (my fav) and gave a bunch out as gifts. Do yourself a favor, try their honey, you’ll never buy supermarket mass produced honey again, it is that good!
